satin dress bridesmaids for the wedding of the summer night?
I have been asked to be in a wedding party as bridesmaid and have been given a color for the dress, but not a style. I found a dress I really like, but the fabric is satin and I wonder if I use a satin (knee length) at a wedding July evening dress? I know the girlfriend lets me wear whatever I want that I would ask everyone else, can you look? Is this appropriate? Is it more taffeta comfortable for the summer? Or is about the same? I will be in a hot / wet, so I might change my mind on the satin on the basis of their responses.
Satin absorbs sweat and is usually displayed with a dark stain. Satin looks pretty, but if it is wet will probably end up very uncomfortable. It also depends on the color silk and noticeably sweating can be.
