Does the problem of breaking the needles and thread embroidery designs with others or just FSL? I like a double layer of Vilene, H2Gone, or Ultra Solvy for WSS. I wear size 75/11 needle, instead of a needle sewing. And I change the needle often so it's always sharp. Make sure you are using 40 weight embroidery thread the needle, and either 40 or 60 strings of weight coil. And make sure the pressure foot is when you thread the machine. If down, the tension within the disks do not always catch the thread properly.
