I have a wedding dress that has straps now, anyway I can do this in a strapless dress?
It does fit in the back and has wide straps. Thanks for all the answers and the only one who wants to know why? My mom have been great if the tapes were not there the dress would fit perfectly. I did not know and could not be done. All go out of style, I just want to be able to wear my dress. 
It really depends on the structure of clothing. If the blouse is bone has stays may be possible. However, the removal of the straps of a dress that is not done to support your breasts is not going to work. Take a seamstess dress and get a real answer. Good luck!
